Accessibility statement
Last updated: 12 July 2026 · Version 2.0
Saqib Engineering Ltd is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and to design and build the site so that it works with keyboards, screen readers, magnification and reduced-motion settings.
2. Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet fully conform, as set out under known limitations below.
3. Measures in place
- Keyboard navigation throughout, with a skip-to-content link and visible focus indicators.
- Colour contrast designed to meet WCAG AA, with link styling that does not rely on colour alone.
- Motion and animation disabled for visitors who prefer reduced motion. The homepage background video does not start for those visitors or for visitors without JavaScript, and a pause control is provided when it does play.
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and a visible label on every form field.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and page structure for assistive technology.
- A responsive layout designed to support zoom and small screens.
4. Known limitations
- Some downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. We are working through them and will provide the information in another format on request.
- The embedded map on the contact page is provided by a third party and its interface is outside our control. The office address is always provided as text alongside it.
5. How we tested this website
This website was assessed by self-assessment. We reviewed the code and content against WCAG 2.2 level AA, and carried out keyboard and structural checks. The site was last reviewed on 12 July 2026. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit.
6. Feedback and reporting a problem
If you find something on this site you cannot access, or you need content in a different format, please tell us. Email [email protected] or call +44 7405 244492, and describe the page and the problem. We will respond within ten working days.
7. Enforcement and escalation
We want to resolve accessibility problems directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides advice on discrimination and access issues: equalityadvisoryservice.com.
8. Changes to this statement
We will update this statement as we improve the site or when it is next reviewed. The version and date at the top of the page show when it was last changed.
