Cookies policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how you can control them. This site is built to work without tracking you: it sets no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and any analytics we use are cookieless.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, store small amounts of data in your browser. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work or to remember your choices. Others, which are not essential, load only where you have given consent.
2. What this site stores
We use one strictly necessary item of browser local storage, and our hosting provider may set one strictly necessary security cookie. Neither tracks you across websites.

3. Third-party embedded content
The contact page can display a Google Maps embed. It does not load automatically. It loads only
if you consent to embedded content in the cookie banner, or select "Load map" yourself. If you do
neither, no Google content loads. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies, which can include
identifiers such as NID (typically six months); their names and durations are
controlled by Google and described in
Google's privacy policy.
4. Analytics
Where enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not build visitor profiles and does not track you across sites. We only ask for your choice on analytics when it is switched on.
5. How the consent banner works
On your first visit, a banner appears at the foot of the page before any non-essential content loads. It offers "Accept all" and "Reject all" with equal prominence, and a "Manage preferences" option where you can allow or refuse embedded content and analytics individually. Nothing non-essential is set unless and until you allow it. Strictly necessary items (the two in section 2) are always active because the site cannot work without them.
6. Managing and withdrawing your consent
You can change your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. A change takes effect immediately: if you withdraw consent for embedded content or analytics, the page reloads so that nothing further loads. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again. You can also clear the stored choice through your browser's site data settings, and control or block cookies generally through your browser. Blocking has no effect on this site's core function.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The version and date at the top of the page show when it was last changed.
