- What is the difference between G99 and Grid Code compliance?
- EREC G99 governs generation connecting to distribution networks, which the DNO or IDNO operates. Transmission-connected projects demonstrate compliance with the Grid Code instead. We prepare the right evidence for the network the project actually connects to, rather than applying G99 across the board.
- Do you support BESS grid connections?
- Yes. Battery energy storage connections to the distribution network are covered by EREC G99, and we prepare the compliance assessments, studies and application evidence a DNO expects for a BESS grid connection.
- What studies does a G99 connection application need?
- Most G99 applications are supported by load flow, fault level and protection studies, together with compliance assessments against the connection requirements. We prepare these as one coherent package so the network operator can accept the application without repeated resubmission.
