Terms of use
Last updated: 12 July 2026 · Version 2.0
These terms govern your use of this website. Please read them before you use the site. They do not govern any engineering engagement, which is dealt with separately by the contract agreed for that engagement.
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Saqib Engineering Ltd, company number 15866031, VAT number GB 491767937, registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Office 17b Bradmarsh Business Park, Bow Bridge Close, Rotherham S60 1BY. You can contact us at [email protected].
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy, cookies policy and copyright policy also apply to your use of the site and form part of these terms.
Professional engineering engagements are governed separately by our consultancy terms and conditions (SE-TC-CONSULT, current version on the downloads page) or by the contract agreed for the engagement, not by this page. Where those terms and this page conflict in relation to an engagement, those terms prevail.
2. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The version and date at the top of the page show when they were last changed, and the version in force when you use the site applies to that use. Please check this page from time to time.
3. Accessing the site and availability
The site is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons without notice. Documents you download are provided as they are, and you are responsible for virus-checking anything you download.
4. No engineering advice and no reliance
The content of this site, including service descriptions, case studies, technical articles and downloadable documents, is provided for general information about our services. It is not engineering advice, a design, a study, a recommendation or a professional opinion for any specific project, site or installation, and it must not be relied on as such.
Engineering advice is provided only under an agreed engagement, on the basis of project-specific information and against the applicable standards. Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on this site without obtaining engagement-specific advice. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any reliance placed on the content of this site outside an agreed engagement.
5. Accuracy of content
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or free of errors or omissions. Content may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it.
6. Intellectual property
The content of this site is owned by or licensed to Saqib Engineering Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You are granted a limited licence to view the site and to use its content only as set out in our copyright policy. All other rights are reserved.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site in any unlawful or fraudulent way, or for any harmful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other malicious or technologically harmful material;
- scrape, harvest or extract content at scale, or place undue load on the site; or
- use the site or our forms to send unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory or abusive material.
We may suspend or block your access to the site, remove material, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities, if you breach these terms.
8. Material you send us
Material you submit through our forms, including documents you attach, must be lawful, must not infringe anyone's rights, and must be yours to send. We handle personal data in that material as described in our privacy policy.
We treat technical and commercial material sent with an enquiry as confidential in practice. Formal obligations of confidence, however, arise only under an agreed engagement or a signed non-disclosure agreement. Please do not send commercially sensitive material through the website that you are not content to share on that basis.
9. Third-party links
Links to third-party sites, including OpsWork and mapping services, are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites, and a link is not an endorsement.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss or damage arising from or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, and any indirect or consequential loss. If you are a business user, you use the site at your own risk.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, and this section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under consumer law. Our liability for any engineering work is dealt with under the contract for that engagement, not under these terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
